    Now I’ve poured that jelly down the kitchen sink I’ve got a feeling it will set, rendering the kitchen sink useless!

    My food fail was when I made shortbread with Daz in Wales and we substituted the ingredients we didn’t have with some random stuff. They tasted awful but we ate them and we both paid the price the next day.

  2. Awww…that looks too depressing. Funny, but depressing ;]

    My food fail was a few years ago. I’ve made cream puffs before, but when I made them this one time, it was with a new recipe and I didn’t realize that I had made cream puffs before (my mom calls it something different in Chinese). So, as my sister and I spooned the dough onto the baking sheet, they weren’t puffs. Instead, they were more like puddles. I was convinced that they’d puff up in the oven because, of course, they have to look like the picture in the cookbook. Needless to stay, they stayed flat.
